|Humour:||6||Yeah, pretty good. You had some interesting subject matter to start with that has a certain amusement factor of itself, which helped. I don't think you took that for all the mileage you can get. But a 6 from me means "pretty good".|
|Concept:||7||Solid - certainly a good story to start from, although for me there's more to get from this.|
|Prose and formatting:||7||Decent enough, although quite similar (particularly at the start) to your inspiration article there. Maybe re-word it a bit more to stamp your own mark on it?|
|Images:||8||Yeah, good, relevant images with decent captions.|
|Miscellaneous:||7||Averaged according to ancient custom.|
|Final Score:||35||See comments below, I basically like what's there, but think you need to move a little further away from the source with the writing, and explore the further possibilities this concept raises.|

Basically, this throws up more questions: Who first discovered the uncanny similarity? How do kids feel knowing they have been sucking/chewing on replica testicles? Is the change of shape a deliberate ploy to combat the lack of sales this may have caused? Or was there another reason?
Perhaps the change of shape mirrors changes other doctors have been noting in the shape of the average testicle, and the publishers of the report are actually behind the times? Or maybe the change is intended to help men check themselves properly - "if your balls are this shape, you're definitely in trouble!"
If you just want to gently send up the original story somewhat, then what you've done is fone. If you really want to stamp your mark on this story, then at least think about running with the ball. So to speak.
