It's "good enough". You could obviously do more though. Seriously, take a look at the guidelines, there's a shitload of ideas there!   Le Cejak <-> (Dec 11 / 15:28)

edit Moving the goal posts

Any and all comments obviously very welcome on this my first urinary extraction... MrN Icons-flag-gb HalIcon.png WhoreMrn.png Fork you! 10:34, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Humour: 7 Started great with an original oscar wilde quote... and kept on going from there. Some great "lol"s.

A li'l problem however is following the article. It's quite intimidating reading "important" and "unimportant" so many times and I found my eyes trailing off, almost being bounced off by the sheer magnitude of those two words within the article. The "editing note" feels unnecessary and it doesn't really add any humour.

Concept: 8 Pretty cool idea... an original idea for a "sport", and the political / business side still allows readers to laugh as it's not too complex for someone not into that kind of thing. (i.e. me :P)
Prose and formatting: 7.5 Quite eloquent at points, which is refreshing and welcome. The formatting is a li'l off-putting from "Attempting to prevent post movement" onwards though. I think you should perhaps elaborate more on that aforementioned section to justify the size of the headline, or make it a smaller headline and merge it into the lower sections.
Images: 7 The OSI thing is funny, but the lower pictures don't seem to do much more than make the formatting look a little prettier. They don't contribute any funny to the article. I'm not sure if it's possible to get a humorous picture of someone doing something relevant to "Moving the goal posts," but could yew try? You can find absolutely anything on google image search (heck, ywl probably get porn just through searching "goal posts") so I'm sure there could be something somewhere.
Miscellaneous: 7.4 Avg'd. Just a little extra comment: aren't there a bit too many inappropriate categories? That threw me off a little, made me go through and re-read in case I'd missed anything when I hadn't...
Final Score: 36.9 Put basically, it's a pretty great article. Little tweaks here and there (as per what I've said) would definitely make it even better.
