edit Dungeons & Dragons: Real Life Edition/Alignments & Deities

This is the newest in the D&D:IRL series, Alignments & Deities. I know it's America-centric as far as the actual deities are concerned, but then again, I'm American, so there. Review Away. —Unführer Guildy Ritter von Guildensternenstein 18:55, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Concept, which must be
the basis of your article
if I'm using this template:
8 Although I like the concept of the "Real Life Edition", the whole idea that D&D fans are out of touch with reality has been done to death. It even managed to spawn my least favorite Futurama movie. However, despite the lack of originality, the entire concept is executed excellently, so you get bonus points and a small sense of satisfaction as reward.
Humor, without a second u,
because I'm American:
7 The pacing in this article is great. There are neither long, boring stretches nor streams of nonsense, and I never felt that any sections particularly dragged on. However, I never came across any moments that made me laugh or even chuckle. Unfortunately I can't think of any real suggestions to improve the humor, but I do think that some of the aggression in the earlier sections is rather awkward. Because the entire article is written in a passive voice, lines like "lazy, ignorant shitpiles who don’t read the fucking newspaper" seem pretty out of place.
Your spelling and grammar,
which probably sucks:
10 Fantastic, I spotted no errors in grammar or spelling.
Images, or lack of: 9 Great use of images, especially in the "deities" section. My only gripe is with the top image of the "book"'s cover, which doesn't strike me as being particularly representative of "real life". Not that I know what would be particularly representative of real life, it just bugs me a bit.
Miscellaneous, not averaged,
despite what some would
have you believe:
8 No need to scorefix, so I'll give you a random number.
Final Score, totaled, as most
would have you believe:
42 This is quite good, and quite obviously complete. I can't really predict how well it would do on VFH, it's neither a surefire loss nor a win, but I can tell you that I would vote for it if it were nominated.
