Besides the lack of pics, let me know what you think. --Striker2117 01:07, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
My impression of the article is that it is truthfully no more funnier than the Wikipedia article. It makes attempts, but there is precious little satire. See World War I (video game) for my favorite example of history satire. Be creative!
Concept wise it is based off of a historical event, so there's not much going there for complete creativity. However, the article just ends up being a recap of the events told in dumb blond historian style. You can be much more creative than that. Use extended metaphors or analogies instead to represent the articles, for example. Stick with a creative theme. The possibilities are endless.
Prose and formatting:
Prosewise the article is unstable. One moment it will describe in encyclopedic fashion, then it will flip over to a joking, unformal language. Decide what direction you'll take the article first, then stick with a certain type of prose.
You know that you need more images. However, I'd like to see a rewrite rather than more images.
Overall, I think this article deserves a rewrite. The Articles of Confederation were one of the many American failures, and the article could do better reflecting that.
