Nomination and For - Because last months decision was too tough — both candidates were highly deserving of this. Tompkins has the five excellent featured articles that were mentioned (The Keep Your Finger In The Box Game, Don't be Stupid, Teenagers, Vote Fish Penis and Distraction), not to mention a fine collection of other non-featured but still hysterical and well-written articles, two of my favs being The Door and Anti-Cliché. Since he seems to be big on bestowing glory upon others through nominations and voting for the other guy, and the rules stipulate he cannot nominate himself, I figured I'd go right ahead and nom him this month. I just hope it means as much coming from a bastard like me. -- Imrealized 18:07, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
For - I don't normally vote so early in the month, but Ptompkins IV, Lord of the Upper Kingdoms, is most deserving. -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me) 18:14, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Comment I'm not saying he don't deserve dis, I'm just gonna point out that when I pointed out that we could move last month's votes to this month, and get a head start, through the same process by witch Keitei gave me the month of May while still keeping her votes, and thus winning in June (see UotM archives). Tompkins declined, and stated that he did not feel that he deserved WotM, due to his lack of writing in recent memory, due to being an active admin. --BrigadierGeneralSirZombiebaron 18:42, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

For. Tompkins even has been accused of severe gayness by an anonymous user. But Tompkins continues to embody all that is Uncyclopedia in the face of the populace's unquenchable hatred for him...--SarinZero (blabber) 01:47, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
For. Aw, to heck with it. Unless someone comes along and writes an absolutely earth-shatteringly funny article (which ain't gonna happen), I'm unlikely to change my vote. Sorry again, Tompkins, but I just really like Hardwick's writing style too much not to vote for him. Not only has he got four features, but he has some relatively unrecognised gems such as The Dice Man and Good cop/Bad cop, not to mention the brilliant Capybara Bomb. On top of all this, he is a great guy: he is curteous, always happy to help people out at Pee Review and lend a hand to help decruddifyother peoples'articles. All within four months. All of which means I'm voting against. Erm, I mean for. --Hindleyite | PL | GUN | WOTM | Image Review - Use it | Converse 10:18, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
For As much as Tompkins deserves it, Hardwick just writes some asoundingly good articles. Bouncy Castle is just one of the best articles I've read. --SirENeGMA(talk)GUNWotMPLS 17:34, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
For. After seeing The Dice Man, I've made up my mind. If you read the fine print this award is also for who has written the best articles recently, and that clearly describes Hardwick. Sir CHolla | CUN --23:38, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Zing! Technically, since Mr. Fundlebuggy is really funny, you could be almost really funny, Joe. Or you can get all huffy and storm out of the room. It's all good. But that's off topic. Thanks to anyone mad enough to vote for my son. These little things seem to mean so much to him. While, on the outside, he looks like an unruffled danger-loving pilot of a nuclear submarine, on the inside he's a jangling wreck of nerves. So your vote might even prevent a nuclear war! And ... speaking as a mother ... I think that nuclear war is a very bad thing, with unnecessarily large fireballs that can really cause havoc with the curtains.

Squiggle is an active contributor to uncyc; always polite and respectful, whereas Modus is always a complete jerk and/or ass. Squiggle is all-around everything that Modus is not. But that's why I can't vote for him. Modus is the guy that always ends up with the hot chick. And although I may or may not be a hot chick, or a chick at all, he's stolen my heart. Nomination - I particularly enjoy Vincent Van Gogh's Things To Do on a Rainy Afternoon and his article on Night Court. He's written a fair amount of good content in a short amount of time, and holds a good word with some well-known contributors. All of their articles have a very relzxed tone, which is one of the things I enjoy most about them. So, in conclusion, this is a new user with new ideas, and I think that makes them a great candidate for NotM. t o m p k i n s blah.ﺞوﻦוףהՃՄண்ஸފއހวอฏม+տtrade websites 19:22, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

But then, they wrote Santaism and that was quite good as well, now my favorite is Gonzo Journalism, their most recent. Weak Against - Has the worst voting reasons on VFH, and completely contradicts himself half the time as well.--Witt,ofUNionEntertain me* 23:22, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Comment A) If we're being graded on consistency, we'll all be in class on Independence Day; B) If you don't like a nominee, withhold your vote; C) Your vote against appears to be based wholly on Anyone's VFH votes, and not on the excellent maintenance he/she has done.--Procopius 23:50, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Comment. Oh...wow...worst huh? A lot of emphasis on that, what with the italics and all. But I am appaulled that you would say that I contradict myself half the time...I've never half assed anything and I'm not about to start now. Let the record show that I contradict myself all the time (Also, please note the emphasis). On a side note, I graciously thank you for your rebuttal Procopius. --Anyone 13:23, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
Comment So procopius, should emc have his vote rescinded because of his liking of Anyone? He's obviously biased. And yes, although I have based my vote on anyones vfh decisions, that doesn't mean that I have to vote for just because of the good job with maintenance work he has been doing. Spending time with that cruft is tedious and helpful, so I'll give it a weak against. And Anyone, you have contradicted yourself "half of the time on VFH", not "all" of the time. Sometimes you give a sensible reason after voting, sometimes not, and I never said you half-assed things either. I'm appalled you would vote against articles that you have commented on being "funny "or "liking".--Witt,ofUNionEntertain me* 00:37, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Comment. No, my saying that you said I did things half-assed was merely tom-foolery; not that you actually said that. Also, I'm glad you're open of your dislike for my VFH voting record because I like to hear all sides, although I honestly I never would vote against an article I thought was funny enough to be VFH'd, so I'm not sure I know what you're talking about...but feel free to elaborate. Thanks. --Anyone 03:40, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Comment I didn't mean you don't count in general, ZB, just that technically you shouldn't count as a non-admin for historical purposes. Admins have a huge advantage over non-admins for this award because they can ban people and delete pages (obviously). Sbluen doesn't have those advantages, but he still works at it, does a fantastic job of it given the limited tools he has, and from what I can tell he stays low-key and never complains, either. Besides, I'm not a Major — I'm a Lieutenant Colonel in the Nauru Air Force (you send them $39.95, and they send back a certificate and a baseball cap - not a bad deal really). c • > •cunwapquc? 05:12, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

Nom & For. - LOL! almost every page this guy has started has been expanded by other users into full fledged articles (never mind that he started some of these pages more than a year ago - still no mean feat). he's the perfect uncyclopedian. he has done a lot of cleaning, contributing to foreign pages & helping new users. good community spirit. yet he still considers himself a misfit?///??? he's too perfect. too much of a a paragon of humility. he has to be tarnished. his userpage has to be mauled. he deserves this award. he is ridiculously goofy; consistently goofy. this recognition is longggg due to him. this award is his nemesis. -- mowgli 19:18, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

For. Sure, he's too anti-liberal for any of us to be especially comfortable with quite a bit of his material, but this award isn't about politics. So, who was there when the "Wikipedia is Good" vandal came around a while back? OB, that's who. Same thing with the [[Talk:UnBooks:See Dick|talk page]] for UnBooks:See Dick... And when a certain Mr. Devonshire sporked one of my articles over at Wikipedia and wouldn't properly cite it at first? OB was the only one here to post a comment on his WP talk page about it (though admittedly, Flammable and Mindspillage also sent him a personal note or two). And I could think of at least a dozen other instances where OB has helped out in problem situations. He's proven to me that right-wing users can actually be nice, helpful, and valuable to the site, which I probably would never have thought possible when I first got here (seeing as how I'm so, you know, anti-right wing). Anyway, he deserves a UotM. Why not. c • > •cunwapquc? 01:25, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
For. And I thought we could only vote once, Mowgli. :) ~ T. (talk) 01:12, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
lol, this is explained on my talk page. if i nom a person, it's obligatory that i vote for the person. my vote for hindleyite was an afterthought. my afterthought became a determination when hindleyite exhausted his vote by voting for orion. since i could not withdraw my vote without withdrawing the nom, the only way i could turn neutral was by cancelling out my vote. a bit convoluted & faulty, my thinking, i know, but what the heck. i'm still canvassing for orion if it isn't obvious already. :) if admins desire, they can delete my votes without affecting the nom. -- mowgli 05:34, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Sorry Hindleyite, Orion has been around forever (I actually expected him to be nominated for Adminhood ahead of me, way back when) and this award is long overdue. FOR. -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me) 9:11, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

For It just seems like its only admins who get this award. Anyway, Hindleyite has a very interesting user names. --BrigadierGeneralSirZombiebaron 02:01, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
For. Before I met Hindleyite, my life was a wasteland of confusion, drugs and alcohol. Now it's exactly the same, except I met Hindleyite at some point. Can't quite remember when. --Sir Hardwick Fundlebuggy(Bleat) 02:55, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
For. To really understand why he deserves this, just look at his name. Let's analyze it. First we have "Hind," or rear, so in other words butt. Next we have "ley," which everyone knows is spanish for "law." Finally, we have "ite," which is a suffix for "to make." Put it all together and you get "he makes butt laws," which is of course, spot on. --Anyone 03:03, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Now I hate to piss on anyone's barbecue, much less Anyone's barbecue, but in my amateur etymology book a hind is a kind of deer and a ley is probably some kind of geographical feature, and an "ite" is someone who likes that sort of stuff. So I reckon Hindleyite's ancestors probberly used to hang around where the deer hung around, and he probably inherited their property. In which case the venison steaks are on him. As well as the beer. -- Sir Armando PerentieKUNFP 08:28, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
That's correct, Armando. 'Hindley' derives from 'Hind' (deer) and 'ley/leigh' (woodland). Not a clue what 'ite' means, though. And, I've never seen a deer round here in all my life, just pies. So yeah. -- Hindleyite 11:08, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Yeah but someone who makes butt laws is so much cooler. You can live with your deer all you want, but guys who make the butt laws GET the butt! (or something) --Anyone 13:35, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
For I seem to remember, vaguely, some time or another Hindleyite did something that pleased me, I think. This is apparently all it takes to garner a vote from me... --SirENeGMA(talk)GUNWotMPLS 00:21, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Pseudo-Against; Doesn't count for anything, as I've already voted. However, this user is not just probably, but definitely a sockpuppet, albeit for good intent.
