Votes For Deletion/Clones has been deprecated.
The means for deleting clones have changed.
Adding to this page will do nobody any good.
Please use the main VFD page.

This voting page is to decide the future of the many AAAAAAAAA! clones that have sprung up over the past few months. Please choose either one of the following options, or cast individual votes for each article.

Keep all "Clones"

  • I don't consider any of them clones and would volunteer to keep any of them on my user space provided it would not cause me to run up against a limit. Does anyone know what the limit to personal user space is? BTW, I can see why some would argue that most of them clones but Binary and Morse Code are absolutely not, since they do contain translatable messages from their respective codes. Also, Morse Code was a featured page; I think that featured pages should be given permanent immunity from deletion - if they have changed so much from when they were featured that they are completely different articles, then revert don't delete.--Naughtyned 02:45, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
  • What harm are they doing, really? Personally I don't think they have any sort of reflective-stupidity affect on the rest of the articles, and they're obviously not offensive. I actually sort of liked "Woof," even - after all, any wiki could use more dog imagery... I don't necessarily want to put a damper on the recent zeal to delete things, but I don't see how these clones are really all that bad. You could even argue that one of the things that makes Uncyc interesting is that it redefines the whole concept of "content," and if we see that as a good thing, then articles like this should mostly be kept (within reason, of course). --Some user 03:25, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

Delete all Clones

For. Really, it's boring. I hated those kids at university who couldn't stop quoting Monty Python, and this is no different, really. -- Sir Codeine K·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 18:11, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

Partial Delete. Yeah I'd go ahead and delete that entire category, except for morse code and ROT13, maybe meow. I don't care. Tompkinssig Smallturtle t o m p k i n s  blah. ﺞوﻦ וףה ՃՄ ண்ஸ ފއހ วอฏม +տ trade websites 02:57, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

Conditional Delete: we should keep the ones that have genuine content in a strange format (binary, rot13, morse code, etc.) but eliminate all of the ones that contain content free repetition and aren't the original AAAAAAAAAA! (No, 999, safhjkdsfa, etc.). --Sir gwax (talk) Signuke 19:25, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Conditional Deletion: Let's keep the ones that aren't just rip-offs, like morse code and ROT13, but ditch all the others... --DON'T TOUCH!

For Mostly. If there's an exception, I'll let you know. Assume that deletion is the answer, and all the problems of the world will be solved. Bone_F_clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 16:18, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

Attack of the Clones:The Picture Show

  • Keep all which have images, including 999. Otherwise, all that you have is just one repeated word, which is worth very little. --Carlb 19:13, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
Pictures do make a big difference. Actually, I might vote to delete Fanta, were it not for the pictures. But damn, they are nice pictures. Woof had nice pictures, too, but ... er ... uh ... nice in a different way! I DID NOT HAVE SEXUAL RELATIONS WITH THAT DOG!!!--Naughtyned 03:07, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
