Having grown up in Rhode Island, I admit there are a lot of inside jokes in the article that might be lost on other people although the page doesn't really seem that bad that it warrants deletion. As it stands, the article has some real potential I think and could use some revising although the absence of the Big Blue Bug and Buddy Cianci among other topics, is disappointing. This article is a satire of Philippines as a whole, and is hilarious to most Filipinos: just google the reactions - and also take a look at the discussion page. You are correct that it is unfunny if viewed by a non-Filipino - but you have to consider that a satire of any nation (including the article on the United States) will be unfunny in the eyes of a foreigner, just as a joke about anything for that matter will be unfunny if you are clueless about the object of the joke. Its like getting rid of all the British humor in Uncylopedia because Americans don't find it funny, etc. We have to take into consideration the readers of the article who knows the country.
