Nick's silky voice returned for four UnNews Audios in January--but he also pushed the service to new highs, actively seeking out audio collaborators and being the driving force behind our new weekly newsmagazine Last Week in the Mirror, so far completing a test broadcast. He has been in and out, and is apparently out right now, so we'll see if the FBI was closing in on him. If he was a flash-in-the-pan, it was a bright enough one to merit the award.   • I am not allowed to nominate myself. But I am allowed to mention that, as of the 7th of the month, my 4th UnNews Audio feature is in, meeting the technical requirements of nomination for a gratuitous and redundant second consecutive Goldstein as perhaps no one else will. This month there are two other contributors (more performance art than news, but still very welcome). If they or others are prepared to crank out three or more, to meet the threshold for March, give it to them, especially if you can thereby get more work out of them. I have been nominated for a lot of other bling this month; elsewhere I've stated my theory that someone noticed that I went away for 4 days (as did electricity throughout New Hampshire) and mistakenly decided I needed a warm kiss to be lured to return. Indeed I would not have this or any other award given out merely for sheer volume. (See my frequent query as to whether an author now on VFD thought he was "paid by page count.") But the rules say 3 minimum, and I bet no one else is going to. Spıke ¬ 21:15 8-Mar-10
Clarification - eligibility requirement is three articles in total, not per month.
