The front of her blouse bears a curious stain

And she's gone and thrown up all her dinner again.

She's complaining of strange nauseating pain

And she stayed out last Saturday 'til midnight again.

What is the matter with Mary Jane?


What is the matter with Mary Jane?

Her stomach's no longer as flat as a plain

And she's stopped emitting the womanhood stain.

What is the matter with Mary Jane?


What is the matter with Mary Jane?

She's bought a strange device from the pharmacy on Main

And she seems really angry with that boy on Third Lane.

What is the matter with Mary Jane?

Her stomach has swelled to twice the size of her brain.

(Well, maybe a bit more...she's got some knowledge to gain)

There's a baby in her room which she says she named Dane.

Where did it come from? She just won't explain.

Where the baby once was there's now just a blood stain.
