AMUNDSEN-SCOTT BEACH, Antarctica -- East Antarctica breaks off from rest of Antarctica, Americans still don't care. Iceberg B-23, the part to the right of Ellsworth and Marie Byrd Lands, mysteriously left the mainland today - allowing faster shipping between Australia and Chile. This is normal.

Some scientists say, weirdly, that since it's already floating in the ocean, it should make no difference whether it melts or not. This, of course is prepostergurglegurgle
