The Ghost Writer (film)
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia
The Ghost Writer is a name of the movie featuring a British actor and not having its real British name. It was released as an English political thriller, however the three other countries falsely (or almost falsely) claim to have been participating in its production.
The Ghost Writer in diffent countries
Normally, and any British person will tell you so, the film is completely English. But after the world has realized how great it was, the French and the German propaganda began convincing people that it is also their country's achievement. The heads of France and of Germany immediately began arguing and, as well as the economy difference between the two countries, The Ghost Writer will be the most significant reason of the next war between France and Germany if it ever takes place.
There is also another nation which pretends that they took part in making the movie. The USA Government has been watching it even when The Ghost Writer has not been finished yet and understood that it can be used for their own purposes. They have seen the French and the Germans fight against each other and understood that America should act wiser than all of the other countries. So, several best trained agents have achieved to seize its plot and replaced it with their own one (see Plot), so that the director did not notice anything, making a lot of other movies to make at the same time. Furthermore, after its release, the title was changed into the one the Americans have invented (the real one was The Ghost). Their sabotage has been successful and now everyone calls it The Ghost Writer (ignorant Americans have made a mistake because it is actually the "ghostwriter" without the gap). But Wikipedia is rather slow at getting information and, therefore, on this website the film is told to be French-German-English and America is not mentioned.
The film was never released, being non-existent. But the movie was, in 2010.
The original plot of the film has been destroyed (see The Ghost Writer in different countries ) but several people still remember the difference between it and the movie. In the original British version, the main character is an unnamed British ghost (different characters say so but the character actually seems to be human) and "has a sensitive spirit". The Ghost travels to America, enters a politician's private property and begins investigating his crimes. After investigating this, as well as the politician's wife, in close details, the Ghost uncovers the truth (that the wife is an American agent) and disappears.
The movie changed by American agents has several differences. The main character is a ghostwriter (in the new movie, he is sometimes called a ghost and sometimes - a ghostwriter, which means that the old data has not been fully erased) who writes memoirs for the former British (!) prime minister. Then he finds out that the wife is rather strange and investigates her for one night (this is one of a few common points the two versions have).
Several days later, he hears people speak about another writer who has also worked for this prime minister and died of drowning after falling from a passage-boat. Being being very wise, the ghostwriter takes the same boat, even after he notices that he is being followed, and waits. But he does not suffer from the similar fate and, wanting to change this, he jumps into the water. Unfortunately, the coast is too close.
He understands that there is no way, he can visit the old writer and keeps on investigating the prime minister's family. Finally, although he thinks he is finished with the wife, she is revealed to be a CIA agent. The happy Englishman tells it to her, knowing that it would be a great surprise and gets run over by a car a minute later (pictured).
The most famous actor in the cast is Ewan McGregor who speaks English with a British accent, therefore creating an illusion that he is British, while he is actually Scottish. He has a habit to always take out his light saber in order to fight. But, as he was not allowed to play in the movie with it, he did not fight at all even someone attacked him.
The British prime minister was played by the Irish actor and one of his enemies, the Stranger - by the Scottish one because the Stranger was supposed to be killed. Nevertheless, the director did not know that the Scottish actor always carried a gun with him and so the plot was changed a bit.
