Hey, RMS! You did your homework on the sentence! As I'm looking at it, it reads We live near Lake Toxic Waste (see Page 2) which is full of beutiful fish that have mutations from toxic waste exposure. Now, that's not particularly funny, I don't think. Can you think of a way to make it obvious that the lake is toxic without actually saying that it is? This is a huge part of "teh funneh": making the reader feel smart by not patronizing them. Give it a shot, and see what you come up with. • <8:22 May 19, 2009>
