This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the Vladimir Nabokov article.
It's been a while since I've read Lolita, but I don't remember Nabokov being quite so bouncy and wordplay-heavy. To me this article reads more like an extremely toned-down (i.e. comprehensible) Finnegans Wake. But I might be misremembering. --—rc (t) 23:13, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
Erm, take a look at "That In Aleppo Once", I'd say that was pretty damn wordplay heavy :P --Olipro 17:11, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
This is definitely an exageration of Lolita (even quotes from it), rather than an understated Finnegan's Wake. I've read Lolita on numerous occasions and, IMHO, this captures the language and tone rather well (albeit in the aforementioned exagerated manner).
