I hope people get the joke about what kind of staples this article is talking about. This is not some completely random thing. I am concerned because everyone I talked so far to doesn't get the joke. --Mosquitopsu 15:55, 28 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Well, I got understood it. ~Sir Rangeley Icons-flag-us GUN WotM UotM EGA +S (talk) 23:12, 28 Nov 2005 (UTC)

I clicked 'random page' and got this. Best Random Article Ever. Myocardialinfarction 20:06, September 14, 2009 (UTC)

I got it just fine. Had to explain it to my little brother, I think it's a little complex, but if you know how to use your brian correctly (Unlike most of the people on the intraweb) then you should get it.--MrJimmy 06:37, 29 Nov 2005 (UTC)

X_X somone cut out my part of the article... oh well I like it better now.--MrJimmy 05:21, 3 Dec 2005 (UTC)

I am the guilty party. It sometimes helps to inject some reality into an article like this. The War of the Spanish Succession was a real war. I did try to preserve the gist of your contribution. Someone should look up some of the facts about the Great Potato Famine on Wikipedia and clean up the nineteenth century section. --Sir KP GUN 05:30, 3 Dec 2005 (UTC)

edit Weird news thing.

I just wanted to touch on the weird news thing that got added to the end of the article there. Is it supposed to be there? or did some idiot add it on accident?--MrJimmy 06:40, 29 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, that doesn't really fit into the article well. However, I like the picture that goes with it because a spud gun is a real-life staple gun. --Mosquitopsu 13:24, 29 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Okay, so I just kinda cut it out of the article, if anyone really wants it back:--MrJimmy 22:34, 29 Nov 2005 (UTC)
  • A 34 man living with his mum threatens to shoot down a helicopter hovering over his home by telephoning the Air Services Australia and telling them he's going to blow the chopper out of the sky using a home-made bazooka loaded with tomatoes. "Fruit is hardly a weapon of mass terror," Donohue's solicitor, Bill Potts, said.--MrJimmy 22:34, 29 Nov 2005 (UTC)
  • Well that was me and i thought it might be worth a mention . maybe not in its form but edited.--Whywhywhy 12:18, 1 Dec 2005 (UTC)
Well go ahead and edit it then! It could certainly work, mabye with it's own heading.--MrJimmy 05:22, 3 Dec 2005 (UTC)

edit The Staple Gun in the Nineteenth Century

Anyone else think this entire section is lame? --Mosquitopsu 16:40, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Agreed People need to realize that adding president's names to an article doesn't necessarily add humor. --Wingzerotype 16:42, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)
