I'm sorry it's taken two or three or four of us a while to get this article proofread, but it is a relatively long article. It looks like others have already done a great deal of work here, but I'll try to pick up the remainder. WHY???PuppyOnTheRadio 01:28, February 3, 2010 (UTC)
No problem. I still love you. (like a brother, you know... I'm not gay...) SirPtok-BentonicznyPisz tutaj • KUN 07:47, February 3, 2010 (UTC)
letter V is not missunderstunting with U, it is used in many polish words like Volkswagen, Volkslist, Volksdeutch and even von Jungingen. Poles can also read letter X, Q, my friend has seen even one Polish who can write it, but i don't believe.
“In a fashion similar to Chinese, most of the Polish native speakers can't write but can read words of their language”
~ Some Professor on the Polish writing system
Since the internet became widespread even in Poland (especially comments sections on news sites) above is incorrect. Most Poles (at least the ones that have internet) CAN write, but CANNOT read.
the fake quote refers to difficult Polish ortography - many Poles have a lot of problems with writing certain words but once they are written, they have no problems with reading them :) SirPtok-BentonicznyPisz tutaj • KUN 13:07, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
