Talk:Pointless Hollywood

Sorry, I had to rant. I stumbled across my room mate's copy of "In Touch" magazine and, frankly, it scared the hell out of me. Modusoperandi 06:50, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
To expand: I never noticed before how shallow and repetitive our "culture" is...I doubt very much that people in the future will mention our contribution to eternity at all (except, of course, for how messed up we were).
Sigh...I'd contribute more to the world, but this chair is comfy and, oooo! Friends is on.
Some would argue that they (Hollywood) are just giving us what we want, I would argue both that our level of expectation is set way too low, and that we really have no idea what we want. Seriously, why would someone watch sugary garbage like "American Idol" if the relatively intelligent "Frontline" is on?
On the plus side, writing in Uncyclopedia is remarkably therapeutic, even if no one will ever read it. Modusoperandi 11:02, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
