Just thought I'd make this article and see how it gets improved on over time. 222.152.247.174 10:49, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

edit Blank lines

Now this article is up for pee(r) review, the tag adds clutter that removes the comic impact. I have added lots of blank lines to reduce this effect. I suggest they are left there for the time being. Tode 10:28, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

edit Pee Review

Not sure where to begin with this one... it's funny enough in principle, but I need some general suggestions/help on expanding it. Thank you very much. Pentium5dot1 05:46, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

edit Leave it alone!

I like it as it is. It is funny and parodic and it made me laugh. It is a well-crafted one-joke article and I think it will only become less funny if any attempt is made to expand it. I might change my view if expansion is done by a comic genius, but I'm against expanding it for the sake of expanding it. Tode 10:30, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Seconded. As it is, it captures the essence of Uncyclopedia brilliantly. AndHappyAboutIt 09:40, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

When I wrote it, I thought there were two ways it could go - either just a message like this or a page that looks like the Uncyclopedia log-in page (or Paypal or any number of others) - you know, like a proper phishing website. I didn't have the know-how to do that, so I wrote it like this. Feel free to change it; I'm sure you could do a better job than I did. 219.88.77.224 07:59, 13 December 2006 (UTC) (yeah, my IP will be different this time around)

edit Proposed moratorium on templating the article

Per the precedent established above, I propose that the {{crime}} tag be moved to this talk page and that no more such templates be allowed on the article. Comments are welcome. Pentium5dot1 19:00, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

I guess I started this by adding phishing to the template. I can see why you might not want it here, but there are enough blank lines now that no one can possibly see it accidentally. This IMO means that it doesn't ruin the joke, meaning there's no harm in keeping it. --Naughtius Maximus Leaf F@H Woof!Za slice MeowMUN 00:16, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

My monitor has a 1920x1200 resolution, and I have the font size setting in Windows set to Large Fonts (this is Windows XP, where the setting is found under the Appearance tab of Display Properties). I am using Firefox 2.0.0.6, and... well, my point is that I can still see some of the template. I am going to add yet more blank lines and hope everyone is happy. Pentium5dot1 00:40, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

Agree with Pentium about moving it to the talk page - blank lines are just annoying and it's equally likely to actually get found on here as it is shoved away at the bottom. --Strange (but) Untrue  Whhhy?Whut? How? *Back from the dead* 09:07, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

I have just removed the categories from the article itself. One category was Category:Crime, which is already on this talk page, and the other was Category:Pages that look like the things they're about, which wouldn't make sense on the talk page. I hereby declare that the aforementioned discussion about templates also applies to categories unless somebody objects. --Pentium5dot1 01:55, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

edit Header Changed to Account Details Lost

I had changed the title header from Phishing to the Classic "Account Details Lost" title to make it look more legit. The article name has remained unchanged and iit still called Phishing. I used the <div id="title-meta" style="display: none"> tag to make it look that way. I hope you like the new look --Pleb- Sawblade5 [block me!] ( yell | FAQ | I did this ) 22:53, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

Oops, I was almost phished by Uncyclopedia Administration Team :-) 118.8.222.37 11:54, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
