Clean up plot

Agreed. Not only is it not funny, it doesn't follow the book at all. The book has a plot that could easily be made funny but the author does not take advantage of it and instead uses a bunch of Animal Farm junk. I might work on this myself. -DeathBySnowman (talk)

Newspeak

If you have to write in Newspeak, at least make it comprehensible. You can't just slam togehter random Newspeak words hand rail banana before mousepad tomorrow opposite hello.

Suggested Re-writes

I'm happy to do either of these, but seeing as both would require a total re-write of the article, I'd like to ensure that atleast a few other people are behind me.

1) Write article (or translation thereof) in Newspeak. 2) Using wikipedia article as the basis, re-write the article substituting in current US-political words in.

Pee Review

Humour:	9	Nicely done. Here's my point by point criticism of each section: Intro-Good with a hairline fracture: I would take out the second sentence "It was originally written..." as this is exceedingly random and stupid. Other than that: doubleplusgood. Plot-Well written synopsis that beautifully blurs the line between reality and BS as well as expertly fusing together something realistic with something that's... well... not. The conclusion is well (re)written: the obvious falsities help portray many of the rewrites as true (and this didn't even have to go through the Ministry of Truth!). BTW, apt placement for the spoiler alert. Comparison-Realistic Table-I might be compelled to add minipeace as flamewars or revertwars or something to that effect. 1984 in Modern Culture-I don't get the quote but perhaps I'm just an idiot (it isn't that I'm too lazy to look things up). -BB is watching-see images -References in modern music-I don't think that they're doubleplusgood, but they're not ungood. It is a question of taste and I ask for ketchup in Paris restaurants.
Concept:	10	Well done rewriting concept of book.
Prose and formatting:	9.198	I found a couple of minor instances of gramatical errors but only because I'm a Grammar Nazi. I don't see any other issues.
Images:	6.5	Appropriate logo reskin and opening picture. Others are great, but I am not a fan of the last four: they're neither ungood, nor good. Elephant Mediocre at best. Little Brother I feel a better "Little Brother" picture could and should be found. However I would also find it perfectly acceptable to give me the finger and be told "Nobody Cares." Bigfoot Has a creepy pedo-smile= certainly should stay. Justin Bieber
