Just looking at that intro, there has to be room in there somewhere for a link to Down with this sort of thing! Like the idea, by the way. --UU - natter UU Manhole 12:07, Dec 9

There's bound to be a few sleigh-offs. (Sorry) Great idea you've got here. My Tree! 13:36, December 9, 2009 (UTC)
Actually, I rather like that. And since I'm making it up as i'm going along I'll probably use it.--Sog1970 13:57, December 9, 2009 (UTC)
I was also going to mention Father Christmas giving everyone the sack. But I won't. My Tree! 15:03, December 9, 2009 (UTC)
Keep it up, all such puns will be taken down and used against you. --Sog1970 15:17, December 9, 2009 (UTC)
You could always have a section that deals with unfair representation of elves in tv & film. Santa Claus the Movie, et al ("Why are we always portrayed by short arse actors? We want a film where elves are played by George Clooney and Brad Pitt") My Tree! 07:36, December 10, 2009 (UTC)

I am very aware that some of the changes reflect style common to some parts of the world and not others. It's a difficulty when you have an international Internet, and especially with an article like this that borrows terminology from various parts of the world (which is appropriate for this article). If you don't like it (especially if you wrote this), change it. Happy Christmas! WHY???PuppyOnTheRadio 21:58, December 15, 2009 (UTC)

edit What do our readers generally like to read smack dab in the middle of January?

Answer: A Christmas article! Here's a two-and-a-half-weeks-passed-experation-date-eggnog toast to the VFH system for featuring articles in speedy time! -- Kip > Talk Works Puzzle Potato Dry Brush CUN Icons-flag-us 09:41, Jan. 13, 2010
