Talk:John Zorn

It seemed to me that the joke about Zorn writing 300 compositions this morning was just a rehashing of the same joke later on. I don't know why the picture of Yamatsuka needed to be moved, it was kind of a last laugh for the bottom of the article. I know that the aesthetics of humor are very subjective. The relation between jokes in an article effect each other, and I'm trying to keep the article as an organic whole in mind. I wouldn't mind discussing the merits of the humor of this article in depth. I may have more to say later.--Dadada 04:16, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

What say you to the idea of writing the article in different styles, like different fonts for instance, in the style o f Zorn himself. I think if it was done with some nuance and panache, it could be really good. --Knucmo2 15:29, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

I don't know if it really works... I was kind of going for the poking fun, kill your idols type of thing. Zorn is put on a pedestal, and I think the funniest thing in that situation is an emperor has no clothes angle, not really an homage. But I'll leave it with the different fonts for now, just because--Dadada 05:52, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

But I am going to revert to the picture of Ringo from 200 motels as Zorn at the top of the page, and the comment about Hezbollah at the end. I think the high brow funny inherent in those things is apparent.--Dadada 05:55, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Changed my mind; RVd the whole thing back to the stone age. Mockery is just funnier.--Dadada 06:08, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
