I wonder where author came up with the word 'Frankistan'. In fact, I've read somewhere in a volume on Balkan history it was a general medieval term for Western Europe. Greeks, Turks, and other Eastern Europeans all called the countries of the West, particularly France and the German states of the Holy Roman Empire 'Frankistan'. It's not used anymore in modern language and is such an obscure word I can't help but be curious. --CEDA 01:35, January 5, 2011 (UTC)
