edit Wow, I know exactly which stage I'm at

I'm at the article whore stage. It's so obvious and true that it's not even funny. Seriously, I just realized how much of an asshole I am. Great work! (vote for me) It's Mrthejazz... a case not yet solved. 05:04, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Don't worry about it mate, that part's practically autobiographical. I think we all go through it. --Kelpan 06:51, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

edit Suggestion

It's like you're righting a freakin biography on me man. --AmericanBastard 01:35, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Another phase, between veteran and admin: addict, recent changes freak... As a final, sick retired uncyclopedian. -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 16:21, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Go for it. Even better, bring back a sick retired uncyclopedian to write it instead. --Kelpan 16:33, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

The addict part is also fundamental, I guess. I've been watching your progress by hitting recent changes once in each 15 seconds. -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 18:17, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Every 15 seconds? You're going to be disappointed more often than not! --Kelpan 18:27, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Hmmm... Wonder what image I should put in for article whore...

Quite obvious, isnt it? -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 18:54, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Well yeah, that's the problem --Kelpan 18:55, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Put the ho and be creative in the caption. Sometimes people are happy in seeing exactly what they expected. -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 19:01, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

How about that? --Kelpan 19:13, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Good... what if you whore in a more explicit fashion? Choose among a handful (3 or 4) bad articles and keep on linking them along the article. It could be some 2005 cruft from a retired user. -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 19:15, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Alright I'll give it a shot. --Kelpan 19:17, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Better! Pretty much better! Pick some of Benson's articles and find a link to his user page as well. I guess he will not feel offended by this "hommage", but maybe you can ask him. -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 19:19, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Genius! It's really hard to find a defunct not very good editor with several articles to his name --Kelpan 19:24, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

ummm... How do I find the articles he wrote? His user page just seems to have hundreds of huge pictures on it and lots of cap locks.--Kelpan 19:27, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Looking through his contributions, I'm not sure he's ever actually written an article The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kelpan (talk • contribs)

  • To link images from text, use colon before the image delimiter. This way [[:Image:Bensonsomething|600px|thumb|Stages of an uncyclopedian: 1 and 2, IP (vandal and civilized); ]]. Do this and you will get much more Benson stuff to link. -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 20:48, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Was just about to ask: I did briefly have some Bensons staring out of the page at me. --Kelpan 20:51, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

? -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 20:53, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. I've even created a pee review for one of his articles! --Kelpan 21:02, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Hmm... Pee review is temporary. It will be deleted on sight. Copy the code to a subpage of this page. -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 21:03, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Done. --Kelpan 21:10, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

There is a way to change the browser title and page inner title so to make you think you're actually reading a pee review entry. It's a simple code, but I don't remember now. -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 21:12, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

If you remember how that'd be great. I think it's pretty good as it is now though. Thanks for all your help. --Kelpan 21:17, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
You're welcome. I didn't touch your article directly because I have quite a heavy hand as editor. -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 21:19, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Fair enough. I've got something for you... --Kelpan 21:23, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Stages of an uncyclopedian, from left to right: vandal IP, good-faith IP, n00b, uncyclopedian (javelin representing Ban Partrol), uncyclopedian (representing VFD), admin (representing code construction), admin (representing boredon), retired (not shown, deceased)

How about this for the start of the article? Straight off the web but it fits pretty well. --Kelpan 16:11, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Sure. Maybe you can change the stage names to geological eras. Cretacean, Jurassic, Cenozoic, so on. -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 17:17, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

I don't know... You mean like:

edit Jurassic:Innocent IP (I pee! he he he)

Seems a bit much; too confusing for a heading. --Kelpan 17:35, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Hmm... yes it is, nevermind. Maybe just a caption on the pic point the chimp as IP, or something. -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 17:36, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Changed my mind. Leave as it is. No need for a caption, this pic is more a decoration than a illustration. -- herr doktor needsAbeam Rocket [scream!] 17:50, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Yeah I agree. It would be a pretty lengthy caption. --Kelpan 17:54, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

edit From Pee Review

Any tips would be most welcome, particularly with reference to the later paragraphs. Thanks. --Kelpan 19:43, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Humour: 8 Good meta-humor. Should be an ignorable policy.
Concept: 9 Maybe Lifespan is better. Evolution usually involves more than one person or thing. I guess that's because we are not Pokeymans.
Prose and formatting: 6 A bit on this. Try to get it to read in smaller blocks.
Images: 9 They are about right.
Miscellaneous: 9 Well, I think this is nomination material.
Final Score: 41 A-, Just work on the blocks and get a good image that could be used on a feature and I will nominate your artice. That is all. Hell, I will nominate it right now, but I doubt it will do anything unless you do these minor revisions
  • Make the blocks less chunky
  • Get a good image you would think would look good on the mainpage. (optional)

edit stage 7

i think you forgot seven, it should go something like this

stage seven : wikipedian

shortly after your leave from uncyclopedia you stumble across a hyperlink which hyperlinks you to wikipedia, within moments of arriving you discover that the articles are nowhere near the standard you expect on uncyclopedia so you set up multiple accounts to "edit" wikipedia without being caught. little do you know that as soon as you hit create on your first account you are imediatly dragged off to the initiation chamber where a microchip is implanted in to youre brain that dampens the areas such as the "funyes synapseicus" the "funyer synapseicus" and the "funyest synapseicus" which reduces your craving for the sheer humour that is uncyclopedia. you can still expirience happyness and even chuckle once in a while but that is as far as your perception of funny goes. the chip also makes you incapable of writing anything that is not a fact (according to wikipedia) and gives you an erge to cite everything you say or type. this causes you to lose your freinds and family because of endless examples generated by the chip which then funnels your anger and sadness into hate for uncyclopedia. you are quickly draughted into wikipedias army which is preparing a massive attack on uncyclopedia which will (in theory) smash uncyclopedias defenses, delete the (what wikipedia consider to be) lies and eventualy merge all of uncyclopedia into wikipedia causing its dominance in the internet, in fact the borg were hired for that last purpos to assimilate the articles here to make the merge much smoother. you consider all biased material fraud, all non (wikipedian) truth lies and you can never escape now, youre part of them.

(the following bit isnt part of the section) i should know about all of this, it happened to me, i only just escaped i ARGH! the chip...its calling them...goodbye, my freinds..... *dies* 19:56, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
