This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the Cthulhu article.
This thing really needs to be written in Lovecraft's style.
No kidding, mate. I added some Random Lovecraftian Words. I hope it helped.
I didn't get this bit: "Consuming the souls of mortals (at a constant of 1d10 people per round, apparently)". It seems to refer to some game, and should it perhaps be "1e10"? - though that would still be 1. Explanation: 1d10 is game terminology for 1 x (10 sided) dice. Another example is 2d6 = 2 x (6 sided )dice.
It is a reference to the Call of Cthulhu role-playing game:
edit Cthulhu Actor
As You can see Cthulhu has a hobbie for acting in his off time. He starred in the film "Pirates of the Carribean 2: Dead Man's Chest" and "Pirates of the Carribean 3: At Worlds End" as Davey Jones AND the Kraken. Could someone please edit the Lovecraft quote so it says "Lovecraft, Cthulhu's official biographer, on Cthulhu."? Thanks. KBKarma 13:05, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
edit Write The Lord Of Madness
Cthulhu, the Lord of Madness whose coming signifies the end of days, answers questions on Sundays. He's not so bad, once he finishes destroying your spirit.
Write to him at firstname.lastname@example.org
Oh, and say something interesting. Otherwise he'll ignore your sorry ass.

I'm worried that that many senseless quotes will anger his unholiness, Mr T's I like the rest can go as far as I'm concerned --Smokes 08:18, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

edit Cthulhu's wager
Haha, that Cthulhu's wager is awesome. Shows a small flaw in Pascals wager. But of course we all know that the flying spaghetti monster is the true God, so you had better put your bets on his noodly appendages! --—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 188.8.131.52 (talk • contribs)
the mole picture is irrelevant--
edit Cthulhu template
The Cthulhu template innacurately refers to the Big C as being "greatest of the Old Ones" but he isn't an Old One. He's the High Priest of the Great Old Ones but he's nothing to do with the Old Ones as far as I'm aware so could somebody change this please. 184.108.40.206 11:52, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
Seeing the name of Cthulhu's cat, I just remembered, I have a picture of a squid-faced cat! must get it!
