edit The Holocaust reference
- The joke works better in the audio version. But yeah, it's kind of weak. I can't bat 1.000. --Sir ENeGMA (talk) GUN WotM PLS 21:58, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
- The audio version isn't very exciting and not very realistic, I'm thinking of redoing the audio version since I can bring exctiement to this and actual sound effects to this. --NXWave 10:09, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
edit From Pee Review
NOTE: This article is about Baghdad, not Beirut (as if I know the difference), so ignore the title.
I'm looking for some of that patented Pee Review magic (There is such a thing, right? This better not be a trick!) I'm looking for general help fleshing out some of the topics (I think Architecture is good. The rest need help), ideas for other sections (Economy, perhaps. I had no ideas for anything else), and just general clean-up.
Also, should I make it more like a travel guide, or less like a travel guide? Should I include dialogue a la New Age Psychology (I don't want to mimick myself, though), should I simulate dialogue/monologue like I've done, or should I make it more formal?
- Personally, I think it's hilarious. It reads like an overenthusiastic travel brochure trying desperately to hide the true suckitude of the land it tries to get people to come to, which is a good thing. I wouldn't add sample dialogue, because it might end up too much like Home Haggis Maker or New Age Psychology. I also wouldn't make it sound too formal, because it would lose some of that patent zaniness (example: the awesome intro). I would just tweak a few things and expand it a little, then release it and let it roam free in the wild. At this stage in its life I think it's perfectly well adapted to survive on its own, if not get a VFH nomination. -- §. | WotM | PLS | T | C | A 00:34, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

Hmm, article locked? That prevents things from being wikified... -- Rei 20:30, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
