Shane DaMarcus Lionheart Ivanhoe Richie III (simply known as Shane Richie or Mongo) is the alter-ego of the famous ruffian and cock-e-ney scoundrel Alfie Moon. Born 25th May 1900 in Rochdale, Richie is well-known to be a dangerous criminal, capable of cloning himself to wreak havoc on small hamlets such as London and Paris. Born to loving parents Dean and Martin, Shane/Alfie was beaten senseless by his fathers most nights, and thus his mind has been described by psychoanalysists as "fucked-up". So much so that he married a pig he claimed was called "Kat" and thought he lived on a street in East London populated with gangsters, old women and a mythical creature called "Ian Beale". He believes this street to be part of an on-going documentary series screened on British prime-time television.

In fact, Richie, and of course Moon, was only recently released from Garsforth Prison for "eating a man's face", something he only said he did because "Beale told me to". Now residing in a bedsit in Rochdale, Richie spends his days injecting himself with heroin, watching blue movies and eating crisps.
