Ruff and Reddy
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia.
Ruff and Reddy were the first characters to be with Hanna-Barbera. They were hired after both Hanna and Barbera bought a TV Studio from Charlie Chaplin after he went to Switzerland.

[edit] The TV Show
The format to "Ruff and Reddy" was that Ruff was a cat who acted like a dog, and Reddy was a dog who acted like a cat. The TV Show would be on for 4 minutes (which was long enough for any TV Show at the time) and they would have adventures on the Moon or even in Atlantis to name a few.
The cartoons would have a cliffhanger and every day of the week, they would show both Ruff and Reddy in a tough spot. In one episode, Ruff was about to say something but since it was on Friday...no one knew what Ruff was about to say until Monday. (He actually said that "The Russians are coming"! And that was the weekend when Sputnik was launched).
The last episode that Ruff and Reddy ever did was a showdown between Worker and Parasite...however, Hanna-Barbera would find this show boring, so they ended it with Reddy in a leg-lock with Worker.
It wouldn't be until 1990 when everyone found out the results...Ruff and Reddy actually won that fight!
[edit] Space Years
Ruff and Reddy were the first cat and dog that would go into outer space and they would orbit Earth in the year 1959. They also bumped into Sputnik II which had Worker and Parasite. This too was seen in 1990.
Between 1959 and 1962, Ruff and Reddy would make 10 flights into space and both Ruff and Reddy came out in one piece. This made John Glenn confident that ANYTHING can survive in space. And at this time, everyone asked about Ruff and Reddy's rivals, Worker and Parasite.
[edit] Unknown Years
In 1970, there was a movie called "Ruff and Reddy", everyone thought that they'll show the final fight that was seen on the last episode...but it was a Pornographic Film called "Ruff and Reddy" featuring...no one!
It wasn't until 1973 when Hanna-Barbera would have Ruff and Reddy would be in a Yogi Bear movie. After that...they disappeared.
[edit] Where are they now?
Who knows? Who cares? That's what Ted Turner just said after the 1990 release of the Pay-per-view fight that only two people saw.
It was said that both Ruff and Reddy have retired in Cleveland because they could get a house very cheap over there and the food is...perogis!
In 1999 though, Ruff and Reddy actually showed-up at the Cleveland Browns game where they won by a point. The only time the Browns would win is if Ruff and Reddy show-up at the games, which they rarely do.
