The PSIIE [pronounced psi] underground network of internet users holds to an ideal of creative freedom in all editable community sites, such as Wikipedia. These individuals feel that creative expression, even with the intent to confuse, annoy, or humour - far outweighs the stale oppressive values of accurate information. Many users of such websites, editers and readers alike, find that those who participate in PSIIE's activities are in fact participatinvandalism is the common term to describe such intentionally inaccurate edits. In response to this view, and anonymous PSIIE member was quoted to say, "The problem is not us. We do not mind our own edits. The problem is the people who take life seriously, and expect some form of intellectual purpose or mandate in all activities."[source needed]

In some respects, many members of PSIIE are nihilists, believing that nothing truly matters, including the accuracy of website information. Some may argue that their views are also in line with solipsism, however this is debated. Solipsism implies the individual does not believe other's experiences are valid, yet often inaccurate edits are intentionally created for the purpose of annoyance. The question remains then, if no one else exists in the universe, who are they trying to annoy?

Ethnically speaking, the demographics of PSIIE do not show any strong correlation to ethnic groups, however there is a slightly higher IAPR [intentionally inaccurate post ratio] for users from Fiji. However, this is likely the result of a few Fijian friends who shared the common PSIIE interest, coupled with a lack of internet in Fiji.

Currently, the PSIIE movement has been repressed from truly making an impact on various communities do to the powers of administrators. However, sources have said that PSIIE operatives are attempting to infiltrate administrator positions at various sites, in an effort to eventually overthrow what they feel is an oppression of their fundamental human rights.
