[edit] Biography

Belushi was born in the United States of Whatever to an albino immigrant who fled his home country after it was discovered that he was a ninja and a threat to the country. Belushi's father's real name was Smitty Webenmanjensen, though he sometimes used the aliases Parson Brown, Richard Stanz, and Jim Belushi.

John's mother was named June Cleaver (although she has nothing to do with the television character), although she used the alias Martha Stewart. Little is known about Cleaver, but she is believed to also be a ninja who used a cleaver instead of a sword.

John had a brother five years later named Jim Belushi, which was one of Werbenmanjensen's aliases. He is also an actor, or lack thereof. When John was seven, he saw a play by Kenan and Kel and he knew that he wanted to get into comedy and acting. "TO-GA! TO-GA!" he said in a 1978 interview.

[edit] Saturday Night Live

Main article Saturday Night Live

John had starred in plays and stuff, doing impressions, and perfectly emulating Joe Cocker. He had become so TO-GA! that he joined the Second City comedy troupe. There he met who would later become the original cast of Saturday Night Live. SNL reared its ugly head on TO-GA! TO-GA!, TO-GA! on the TO-GA! TO-GA! TO-GA! network.

It drew record ratings, and soon the other Saturday Night Live, a sports show with Howard Cossell, was canceled. Because of the conflicting titles, the comedy show was referred to as NBC's A Pile of Crap and 15 Commercials Between Each Skit before becoming Saturday Night Live or its abbreviation, SNL.

Belushi and fellow cast member Dan Aykroyd created this sketch where they were two blues musician brothers known as the Blues Brothers, go figure. When the two left the show in 1980, they spun these characters off into a smash-hit movie called "Neighbors".

The film had a sequel Blues Brothers 2000 with John Goodman, but Dan Aykroyd went back in time and prevented the film from existing. Then John Goodman wanted more money, so he went back in time and remade Blues Brothers 2000. It bombed at the box office in 1999 and regrettably was not eventually a cult hit either.

[edit] Animal House

Animal House was a film that took place at two fraternities called Delta and Omega. The fraternities are in danger of being condemned because of their antics. This film is very famous for it's TO-GA! scene. The Toga scene includes the classic chant of "TO-GA! TO-GA! JOHN TESH! TO-GA! TO-GA!..." and is the greatest scene from a movie of all time, says film critic TO-GA! TO-GA!

[edit] Death and zombification

John Belushi died of a drug overdose on TO-GA! TO-GA!, TO-GA! at the age of 33. His brother, Jim Belushi, later became a cast member on SNL, but unfortunately never once chanted "TO-GA! TO-GA!" Oh wait, nevermind, there was that Simpsons episode. "TO-GA! TO-GA! TO-GA! 2000!"

On TO-GA! TO-GA!, TO-GA!, John Belushi and Gilda Radner rose from the dead to reunite with the original SNL cast for the DVD release of their first season. Everybody was absolutely horrified, except Chevy Chase claims that he "ain't afraid of no ghost."

John Belushi, even in death, still has loyal followers who chant "TO-GA! TO-GA!" every chance they get. TO-GA! TO-GA! TO-GA! TO-GA! TO-GA!
