The famous Pee Review.

Just wrote another article? Or maybe this is your new article? Sure you want to get feedback for it, and it is clear that Pee Review is the only place for it. However, if you have been here for quite sometime, you must know that 86% of Pee Review requests are forgotten, even after two weeks. What will happen is, your request will go on top of the page, then second place, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and so on, until people don't see it any longer. Sucks, doesn't it?

Well this article might help you to get a quick Pee Review feedback, and probably you will get the response in less than 48 hours. Besides getting a quick feedback, this article will also discuss on how to avoid your request being forgotten.

Remember though, this article will not discuss about the feedback itself, nor the people who will reviewing your article.

edit Placing request

Before getting to the main ideas, you need to learn how to place a request on the Pee Review page. The idea here is to be honest and clever. Don't you ever place a fake request there, or pretending that you are very clever, or very stupid. Also remember that Pee Review is different with Peer Review.

Here are the steps to Pee Review:

  • Make sure you've got an article.
  • Open up a new window or tab for Pee Review page. It is located at http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Pee_review.
  • Copy the article's title (press Ctrl + C for a faster way).
  • Paste the article's title on the empty bar on the Pee Review page (use Ctrl + V). You can always put other more interesting names beside the article name, such as Hitler's House or Give Pee Review and I'll give you money, but don't do it.
  • Follow the instructions on the edit page. This time, make sure you enter the correct article's name.
  • Write something that will make people sad below that. For example, "Help me finish this because I am new here" or "My grandfather is going to die, please give me feedback".
  • Wait.

edit Inviting people

After you're done with placing request, you need to invite lots and lots of people. Remember one thing, do not invite people from Wikipedia, as they will reply the request with something like delete, merge, redirect, keep, ZOMG and other big words that can make you puke. Also, don't invite old/fat people, because their jokes are just different. Instead, you can invite people from IRC, Uncyclopedia or your housemates.

On Uncyclopedia, you have several options to invite people.

edit International Rotten Corpses (IRC)

IRC seems like the easiest way to invite people, regardless of their nationality, religion, hairstyle or skin tone. While it seems easy to spam on IRC, you need to be careful as there are admins who will kick you out of the channel, because of your links. To make it easier, you can avoid it by applying the techniques below, that will allow you to post any link anytime you want. Pretty cool, ain't it?

The idea here is to make people think you are not spamming, which is pretty hard to do. You can always talk about something else first, and then, give them the link. Here is an example of a conversation that you can always try. The user named ramenbuoy is attempting to give other people a link to his new Pee Review.

Sikon          : morning!
gneomI         : Afternoon!
TomMayfair     : You bastards, stop talking about timezones
ramenbuoy      : hello guys
gneomI         : Nah, it's just a fun thing to do XD
PrincessCaitlai: I gotta go to boil noddles
Sikon          : noddles are like hippies
ramenbuoy      : not as hippies as my new article
TomMayfair     : btw, where is Osama now?
gneomI         : How should I know?
//PrincessCaitlai has logged off
ramenbuoy      : yeah, my new article is pretty good
Sikon          : lol I just think we should have an international time zone
ramenbuoy      : I just posted a new pee review. Btw, how are you Sikon?
Sikon          : I'm fine
gneomI         : Alright guys I need to go

edit Talk pages

Tip

In general terms, don't ask someone with the same sex to go our for dinner. It is just strange.

Talk page gives more advantages, because they have a different view of the sender and receiver. Talk pages give a more one on one approach, and makes people think they have friends, when they really don't. Another advantage is that you can be sure that the receiver will actually get the message, unless the database has been robbed, although there is still a possibility that the receiver will not give you the feedback because he/she is too lazy, and may delete the message. However, due to the greatness of Wiki Wiki, you can always revert the deletion and keep it going until they give up.

This is an example of a good message for a request:

Hello! How are you? How is your family? And your pets? I am sure they are fine. Hey listen, I
want to invite you to go out for lunch sometime. Tomorrow maybe? We need a break from editing
Uncyclopedia man! Heehee... Speaking of Uncyclopedia, I might nominate you for UotM, because you are
just sooo damn awesome. I've never seen someone like you before. Btw, check out these boobs.
See ya around, mate! It's gneomI 06:02, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

So now we will discuss the message in depth, so you understand.

  • Hello! How are you? How is your family? And your pets?? I am sure they are fine.
Generic introduction, asking the condition of the receiver, good old stuff. Just one thing, don't ask about his/her wife/husband. You will regret it
  • Hey listen, I want to invite you to go out for lunch sometime. Tomorrow maybe? We need a break from editing Uncyclopedia man!
The main content of bullshitting, ask them to go out for food. If the receiver is a girl, ask for dinner! The second sentence is a pre-transition sentence.
  • Heehee... Speaking about Uncyclopedia, I might nominate you for UotM, because you are just soo damn great, I've never seen someone like you before.
This one is the real transition to Uncyclopedia, plus kissing his/her ass by saying how good he/she is.
This is probably the main content of the message. Be sure not to link Hitler's penis.

edit Keeping your request on top

PeeReviewShotEdit

One attempt to keep the request on top. No one will notice it.

As being said before, everyday around 600 new requests appear on the request page, and it will make your request go down even before someone give you the feedback you want. That doesn't count the updated requests that have been reviewed, which will go up as well. From the past researches, most users will think "Shit!" or "Damn, no one replied!". Users also really want to bring their request back on top, and although it seems impossible, actually it is very possible, without anyone knowing it.

edit Adding a single dot

The first technique is probably the easiest, but not the safest. The point of this technique is to keep updating the request with a/some character(s). For example, you could add "." (dot), "," (comma) or anything else, it really does not matter. However bear in mind that you should pick those small characters that people won't even notice. If you select "@" or "&" or even ":D", people will hate you. If they hate you, they will not give you feedback, and you fail.

edit Updating the request

Tip

Always say thanks and sign your post ;)

The second technique is the safest technique, although it requires some more skills than the first. The idea is to keep updating the request with pointless meaningful words from time to time. The best time to update is every 10 hours. However, if you feel that you need to update it, or your request is on the second place, feel free to update it.

Here are some examples of the sentences:

  • Hey again guys, I have added some more information to the article, please see it.
  • Hello, I just deleted some pointless sentences and Uncyclopedied it.
  • I have added two more pictures.
  • Damn! Someone vandalised it! But it's fine now. I'm still waiting for feedback :P.
  • Pleasee...

The latter is pretty obvious though, please only use it if the first three don't work.
