A "follow" button in place of "watch". A "new age" login screen that practically begs me to make a sockpuppet account every time I log in. Quit trying to make the internet hip. It's not hip. It's the internet. -RAHB 05:43, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

Are you feeling redundant? Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 07:13, May 7, 2010 (UTC)
Well what about the login screen then, Mr. Smarty Smartpants? -RAHB 07:23, May 7, 2010 (UTC)
I want to know who the fuck is changing the wiki, dammit! Don't change something that isn't broken. MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 07:26, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

Multiliteralist: remind me to nominate you for Captain Obvious of the year. Dex: it has five letters, beginning with a w and ending to an a and I hear that "Wikipedia" has more than five letters...I dunno. --Sai Jack Phoenix, professional killer admin (Whine?) (Wikia ads) 10:42, May 7, 2010 (UTC)
This didn't happen such a long time ago - but you asked me to remind you to nominate me for Captain Obvious of the year. So, remember to do it, please. -- Style Oranssiviiva Guide 16:22, May 7, 2010 (UTC)

Change happens guys... that's the wonder of the modern world. One of the changes that's happened is that you can now watch blog listings and, if your preferences are set for email, get a notification when there is a new blog post. With so many wikis to look after, I just don't have time to individually update them with new info the way I used to (much as Uncyclopedia is still my favourite wiki of course!). So I strongly suggest you, or at least some of you, follow the staff blog at w:c:community:Blog:Wikia_Staff_Blog. Some of what's said there is Monaco specific, but it will help you keep up to date with general updates too. -- sannse@Wikia (talk) 01:19, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

I looked at that page you linked, and here are the words I saw: "webinar"... "Glee Wiki"... "Ever wish you knew as soon as a new blog post went live?" And then I decided to never look at that page again, ever. Spang talk 05:59, 09 May 2010

No problem guys... now promise me you won't ever complain about not knowing about any feature releases or other changes announced there... *kiss* (yeah, I know a lot of stuff there won't interest you, but there and the forum on the same wiki are the places to go if you want to get info on changes and new features) -- sannse@Wikia (talk) 07:50, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
Life is more exciting when everything is a surprise. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 07:56, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
It certainly makes my like more exciting when you guys get surprised >_< -- sannse@Wikia (talk) 08:11, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
If there's one thing we life, it's to make your like more excited. Also, it amuses us when people spell wrongly. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 08:35, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

No offense to you personally sannse, as I know you're just trying to help, and it's your job to tell us this. But I fail to see how simply knowing about changes in advance is going to make them any better overall. If we dislike a feature, an organized discussion about how to compromise to make both sides happy is what should be done in a community such as this. Saying "I'm sorry you don't like it, but if you'd read the blog, you would have known" doesn't make me like the screwy login screen anymore than I would have. Now, that being said, I'm pretty appalled at some of the forms of protest individual Uncyclopedians have used in the past, claiming to be acting on behalf of the entire community, and so I'm sure that sort of stuff doesn't put us in great standing when it comes to constructive discussion. All the same though, it's hardly a service to us just to keep us informed about changes that are going to happen whether we like it or not, and whether we read the blog or not. Not saying that the blog itself is a bad thing (I don't like them that much, but to each their own), but I don't think it really fixes the particular issues we're dealing with here. -RAHB 04:02, May 10, 2010 (UTC)

Are you STILL bitter about that time we vandalized the Main Page and posted all the admins' personal information to 4chan to protest the change from .org to .com? Geez man, that was years ago. Let it go.--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 23:01, May 10, 2010 (UTC)
