This came up on IRC a few days ago - wondering if it might be a good idea to have a welcome message for vandals etc who aren't quite insta-ban, but still need to be shut up - sort of like an alternative to banning if they're more or less harmless (i.e not blanking pages etc). Alternatively, it could be a bit of explanation for those who've already been banned - might stop them doing it again, at least? Just an idea.

Fixed it for you. It seems you <noinclude>ed out the end of the wiki table, so it wouldn't show up when it was called. —Hinoa KUN (talk) 18:01, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I think we should ban poor editors for at least a few weeks as a stopgap. And that template is as shitty looking as they come. The grammar is bad, the color scheme is awful, the wording is awkward....I'll either delete it or rewrite it this weekend if y'all don't put some real effort into it. ...Well, alright then. Sorry. I know the colour scheme is awful, and sorry about that, but I didn't think it needed to be particularly nice looking - these are vandals we're talking about. I just thought it mostly needed to attract attention. But I take your point, I'll change the colour scheme. Sorry. It's still only an idea... And by the way, it's moved back to my userspace.
