Forum:Vote: Are there too many @$%& boxes on this @$%& Forum?
From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia
At User talk:SPIKE#Headers are good, PuppyOnTheRadio identifies some code from MediaWiki:Common.css (originally "from the French Wikipedia") that provides that indented paragraphs appear in compulsive little boxes. After unrelated discussion and third-party trolling, at the bottom of this section I give a Meh! as I am not attached either to the boxes or to trying to exactly imitate Wikipedia stylistically. I do think it's ugly to include for every Uncyclopedia page (even if it doesn't flow over the wire on every page view) some style code that only applies to ns-110 (Namespace 110, the Forum). And I pay per megabyte (unless I pay per gallon to drive to the Public Library).
Does anyone see a reason why the rendering style for Forum discussions should gratuitously differ from the rendering style everywhere else? Spıke ¬ 00:11 13-Mar-13
- I've always thought it's stupid. Look what it looks like if you do an extra two-dot thing or four. If you have a way to change it back, please do so. A very good idea, thanks for thinking six steps down the road from us hillbillies sitting on the porch. Aleister 00:58 13-3-13
- Even better when you add a line break in there. It's unlike Wikipedia, and I see no rationale for it. And it looks ugly. We don't use it on talk pages anywhere else. No valid reason to keep them, and plenty of reason to remove them. 03:06 13 Mar 2013

- Per Sims. If it bothers some people, then I won't go to the barricade to defend the Status Quo (Shake that hair). --
