This place is really stupid. I decided to log on to my account after like 2 years absent. Its really dumb how you guys worship benson. I really think the people here are smart, funny, and clever enough that if they quit this site. They could do a lot with their lives and be a better member of society. Also its gone downhill. It used to be clever material. now its going more and more downhill to the point where its random crap and images for no reason. Just a thought. choclateuis communistius maximus 23:13, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for your suggestion! When you feel an article needs fixin', please feel obligated to make whatever changes you feel are needed, (even though they'll probably be reverted 5 seconds later). Uncyclopedia is a wiki, so almost anyone can edit almost any article by almost simply following the edit link almost at the top. You don't even need to log in in most cases! (Although there are some reasons why you might like to...) The Uncyclopedia Cabal encourages you to be italic. Don't worry too much about making honest mistakes—they're likely to be found and corrected quickly, and your 6 month ban will fly by faster than you think. If you're not sure how editing works, check out proper wiki formatting, or use the sandbox to try out your vandalizing skills. --MegaPleb Dexter111344 Complain here 23:14, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
Who the hell is Benson? What's this society thing of which you speak, and where are my slippers? Again! MrN Icons-flag-gb HalIcon.png WhoreMrn.png Fork you! 23:30, Oct 5
Benson is Hell. Hell is Benson--MNM5150Talk Dirty To Me Failings 00:43, 6 October 2008 (UTC).
No, actually Benson was a user. He created this forum, actually, way back when, it was pretty funny. Alas, perhaps a bit before your time. Also, this: # 01:40, 6 October 2008 TheLedBalloon (Talk | contribs | block) blocked B0n b0ns (Talk | contribs) with an expiry time of infinite ‎ (Hey! I remember you! It's nice to have you back! Why'd you ban him? Sure, he's an asshat, but did he do any actual harm? --The Acceptable Thinking cap small Cainad Sacred Chao (Fnord) 16:57, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
You make some valid points. The only thing that I can't figure out is what they are. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 13:12, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Warning: the following text contains a serious(ish) response

I think the Benson thing is much better than it used to be. The hardcore Bensonites are all but gone, and the new generation of users haven't a clue who it is, so it may as well be John Benson or Dave Benson Philips or Benson and Hedges.... it's now just a name given to the 'random' forum. So yeah, I don't think anyone worships Benson any more, he's yesterday's news (Thank Gawd). As for the material getting worse: is it really? Hell we have to have a new feature every day so there's going to be some less good stuff there every so often.
