Why should the British have all of the fun? We need to update the US political articles as well. I've contributed to both articles on conservatives and liberals and it seems the articles on liberals get vandalized or rewritten so they are on republicans instead. The How to be a liberal article, for example got changed into how to be a republican and word swapped liberal for republican. The Hillary Clinton article is being updated now that she runs for President in 2016. What other articles need updating? Orion Blastar (talk) 01:20, May 27, 2015 (UTC)

Three of these are FAs; these "are assumed not to need new attempts to make them funny" but can be brought up-to-date. I have struck through four above that are in good shape. I am keeping watch over Tea Party movement too; see also Free State Project.
- OK the How to be a Republican needs major rewriting, they copy pasted the how to be a liberal page and then word switched liberal for republican and then tried to convert it. You can move the deleted how to be a liberal into my user space and I can work on it to make it better. Orion Blastar (talk) 02:52, May 27, 2015 (UTC)
"Liberal" is in your userspace. "Republican" begins with the stock nagging of the reader on how to interpret the humor that the author has not yet started to deliver.
My general rule is that you ought to make fun of politicians of your own party. That way, the humor isn't bitter or cheap shots; the author writes things that maybe even the politician himself could laugh about. That's why I assigned Ted Cruz to our Jonny appleseed during our writing competition, and wrote Larry Kudlow myself a couple years ago. 03:07 27-May-15
