Does Uncyclopedians accept pages translated from other languages? 'cause I noticed there isn't a page about Bruce Willis and I was translating an article I wrote on Nonciclopedia (italian). Would it see the light or be destroyed with TNT? --Coogaspein (talk) 17:54, July 7, 2013 (UTC)

The only way to find out is to complete the translation to English, then have the Proofreading Service look at it to make sure the translation is properly written in English. Then, have it Pee Reviewed. This way, you can get feedback on which jokes survive the translation to English, and which do not. Alternatively, you can create the article in your userspace, then ask users on their talk page for feedback. -- Simsilikesims(♀UN) Talk here. 23:19, July 7, 2013 (UTC)
I've translated some to and from English. I've been surprised how one of the most popular Spanish articles doesn't even get noticed on this wiki and how one of the best articles ever written on Uncyclopedia is equally ignored on the spanish one. It's tricky getting the humour across when translating and I'd recommend making more than minor adjustments when translating. Of course...you're welcome to translate as much as you like if they're good. I'll happily rough edit any of your translated articles (though someone else will have to go over spelling and minor grammar mystakes which I'm very bad at). --ShabiDOO 16:47, July 8, 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for your responses. My article is here User:Coogaspein/Bruce_Willis and it's waiting for proofreading. There are only a couple of references about italian places but I think I can change them. --Coogaspein (talk) 17:24, July 8, 2013 (UTC)
I had a quick look. So Bruce Willis was found in Italy, on the slopes of a volcano? Are you from Naples by any chance?? I don't know, does look a bit random to me but depends on how much help or interest you want about improving it here. I recently did some work on a UnBooks:Dirty Harry Potter which started life on the French version. [[1]]. The version here got featured. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 16:55, July 9, 2013 (UTC)
Then I'll change that particular. However I chose that location for the presence of a volcano and a military base and 'cause he was born in Europe. I'm not from Naples or close. --Coogaspein (talk) 17:05, July 9, 2013 (UTC)

Can we make a translation office of any kind where very good articles in other languages will be placed and someone who speaks these languages will tranlsate them in English? This can give birth to several interesting things. For example, there can be the TotM (Translator of the Month), etc. Anton (talk) Uncyclopedia United 11:32, July 10, 2013 (UTC)

Oh, it exists already under the name of Foreign Office. Anton (talk) Uncyclopedia United 12:38, July 10, 2013 (UTC)
