It mainly refers to users that have been here a while. ~SirFrosty(Talk to me!) 02:08, August 6, 2011 (UTC)
Ive been here over a year (actually older than lollipop and maniac mcpee combined)....does that count? →A(Ruins) 02:13, August 6, 2011 (UTC)
You left for 6 months. Longlivety dosen't matter. Mattsnow's only been here since April, and he's notable. --Lollipop-CONTRIBS-WRITINGS-SHOP-Now adopting! - 02:29, 6 August 2011
I would like to point out that as a QA patroller, I might have been on that "fairly active users" list had the watchlist function on the QA log been functioning properly. But in case anyone's wondering, I just found a way around it: User:Fnoodle/QA/all has to be on the watchlist, as the QA page is now just a frame. In other news today, erm... Look behind you--a tarantula!*runs away* -- Sir"TheSlyPony"Invariably certifiable.Rap sheet. His greatest achievement (and bizarre obsession).08:30 August 9, 2011 (UTC)
Left for six months? Hilarious........I ade have not made any edits in that six months, but I checked in every day for the news. So, technically, whatever. →A(Ruins) 02:02, August 11, 2011 (UTC)
Criteria?
What criteria are you actually using to reach these figures? Does activity such as things from the deletion or ban log appear? Which are edits to articles, to forums, to user talkpages? Which are "welcome" messages to new users? What other factors may be a contributing factor to the number of edits viewed over a short period of time? -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me)
I was on holiday. I wasn't very active while I was on holiday. Let us use last week as a template for everyone's activity, I can't see any possible drawbacks there. Mhaille is also a very sexy man. --ChiefjusticeGameCube 08:51, August 7, 2011 (UTC)
My original point was to display the activity between admins and current users and compare. However, I should of made it a larger amount of time. I should of added actions like bans, deletions, and IRC that don't appear in contributions. Also Chief, how sexy is Mhaille? --Lollipop-CONTRIBS-WRITINGS-SHOP-Now adopting! - 15:29, 7 August 2011
You should of used the wording "should have". Schamschi, 23:09, August 7, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I know, that's why I am so allergic to it. Schamschi, 23:27, August 7, 2011 (UTC)
You should of also looked at providing older data to provide something to view it against, say at fixed points throughout the history of the site? Of course that data would then have to be offset against things such as general levels of user activity during that period. Its also worth noting that short term activity can be massively misleading, anyone can hammer the site for a couple of weeks, maintaining that over a couple of years a la MadMax is a lot harder to do. -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me)
I always considered MadMax to be one of the hammer-offers for a while, at least post-2008. Every time he suddenly resurges it's a great boon, though. --TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK 03:10, August 9, 2011 (UTC)
My daughter is a toddler, and runs everywhere. Keeping up with her requires a high level of activity. I haven't deleted anything in a while mind you, but, y'know - priorities. --UU - natter08:39, Aug 7
You have a child! Aw, I still live with my mommy and daddy! --Scofield & The Machine 08:43, August 7, 2011 (UTC)
So she's like a little you? Is she covered in peanut butter too? SirModusoperandiBoinc! 14:25, August 7, 2011 (UTC)
