May I suggest that we change our slogan from 'The Content-Free Encyclopedia' to 'The Free-Form Encyclopedia', which sounds much classier and would be easier to promote to the news media. It actually means something, whereas 'content-free' just signifies stupidness. The play on the word 'free' is from Wikipedia, whose slogan is 'The Free Encyclopedia'. Thanks. Aleister 18:08 22-5-14

The problem with both these slogans, the old and new ones, is that they suggest anyone can add anything at any time. Although this is true, this is not what we want to have happen - we want quality content contributed, and edits of a certain standard. Wikipedia achieves this through their myriad of bureaucratic rules, which are referenced every time a page is removed, or sometimes when an edit is reversed, and frequently mentioned on the talk pages there. We don't want to become quite as bureaucratic as they are, but they still manage to attract millions of users despite their many rules, and perhaps we should put into writing some of our unwritten rules. Finally, content-free is a joke. It is a stupid joke, but it is still a joke. Free-form is not a joke. As a humor site, we should have a slogan that is humorous. -- Simsilikesims(♀UN) Talk here. 19:48, May 22, 2014 (UTC)
