User talkpages on Wikia are apparently going to be deactivated, to be replaced with something that is apparently rather like facebook, except apparently buggier.

I guess I figured it merits discussion. To what end I'm not sure, but I suppose we'll find out. 1234 ~ 16:35, 28 September 2011

Maybe they'll make another exception for us, since we are trying to be just like Wikipedia. In any case, I don't like Facebook's design, but that's okay. I'll just make a separate usserpage and format it like a talk page, then direct all "Facebooktalk" visitors to the fixed page. If it really comes to the User talk namespace being disabled, we can always invent a new user talk namespace and call it "Usertalk", for instance.
