Hi! Any updates on the table of contents problem? Shouldn't Wikia do something about it? I know it's been forwared to them but I haven't seen any progress yet and I fear that they just don't care to deal with it. --Mimo&Maxus (Talk) 17:06, January 6, 2014 (UTC)

What's the problem?? First I've heard of it. I am scared now. Aleister 18:00 Captain, 6-1-14

So... no news I guess.. *sigh* Why does that always happen to me? --Mimo&Maxus (Talk) 20:48, January 9, 2014 (UTC)

Try asking Spike. I presume we are refering to the fact that the contents page does not adjust width anymore for images and the like. Sir ScottPat (talk) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 12:27, January 11, 2014 (UTC)
What I have observed is that any article's Table of Contents now depends on JavaScript. Tables of Contents now have a show/hide button, and if JavaScript is disabled, the button doesn't work. If the Table of Contents is displayed, you see a serial number (which is a duplicate of the section number, unless the article has subsections, in which case it is simply wrong). Sometimes section numbers are not displayed in the article even if you set My preferences to call for them to be displayed.
Wikia's response was that this was a consequence of a new "lazy load" design that I guess seeks to start displaying a page before all the computations are complete. Wikia reported that the double- or missing-number bug does not appear on their other wikis and that they are looking into it. This might be the same engineer who is looking into the months-long failure of the User Creation Log to point us to new users to welcome promptly. Spıke Ѧ 12:51 11-Jan-14
