Here's Quaint, and here's Coherent. Both have 45 and 64 articles, and zero subcategories. And they have exceptionally lax criteria for article inclusion, as can be seen. So why are they up on the all-important title bar? --L 15:41, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

I would be willing to bet that those are all rather far-reaching categories. I doubt that anyone clicks them anyway. I believe the point of them, however, is to give a wide idea of what the site has to offer. The "lax" criteria allow that to happen. As a side-note, I do believe that it is a requirement to have a link to your userpage in your sig.-Sir Ljlego, GUN VFH FIYC WotM SG WHotM PWotM AotM EGAEDM ANotM + (Talk) 16:29, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
They've been around since darn near the beginning, and I'd hate to see them go for sentimental reasons. -- Tinymooose.gif » Sir Savethemooses Grand Commanding Officer ... holla atcha boy» 18:11, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
I agree with Stm. They remind me of the first time I got to second base. Ah, what'shername...good times. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 20:44, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
It'd be like taking out the line, "protected by the fair use clause, and an elite clan of clinjas". It just wouldn't do! If you have a problem with them, improve the categories, Spang talk 12:52, 21 Jun 2007

I wouldn't mind an improvement to some relevant projects, say changing them to UnBooks and UnTunes, but hey, sentiment would probably beat out practicality any day...--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 03:56, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

Definitions of each word

  • Quaint: Having old-fashioned charm.
  • Coherent: Orderly, logical and consistent.

A quaint article would have old-fashioned charm, like Amish. A coherent article would be orderly, logical and consistent, like OCD. --General Insineratehymn 00:59, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
