Is there someone who claims responsibility for checking if NRV articles have been edited? Do they check if it's good enough to stay? I'd just like to know how things work around here. Please? --Atomic 09:24, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

After seven days of the placing of the tag, admins read the article and see if it is worth keeping at this point. If not, it's deleted or moved to the creator's personal userspace (if requested).
If you think you've improved it enough since it was tagged, you can remove the tag yourself. There's more information on this here. Hope this helps out. -- Hindleyite Converse 12:00, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
I don't know if it's a wise idea to authorize the author of an article to remove NRV. There are lots of articles that end up in VFD with people asking "How this p.o.c. survived NRV?" just because the author found his own creature not anymore NRV-worthy. It's better to enforce NRV staying for a week and then an admin studying the case to see if it deserves living or not. Also, I guess you should at least place a warning for users that remove the NRV from their articles - and they often do so 15 minutes after it being placed, specially if the author in question is an IP. -- herr doktor needsAsample Rocket [scream!] 16:22, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Maybe, but I'm sure that Atomic Disturbance here is a reasonable character. Remember, I'm only quoting policy here. Plus, it saves on admin legwork when it comes to sorting NRVs - yes, we're a lazy bunch. -- Hindleyite Converse 16:35, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Admins? Lazy? Never. </sarcasm> --—Braydie 16:39, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
What were you saying about me? I'd go up and read the preceding lines, but that's just so much WORK...--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 23:36, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Uh... see I wasn't saying nothing about no one (double negative intended). Please don't ban me.  ;) --—Braydie 23:38, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
That was a triple negative! You're lying! --Sir OCdt Jedravent CUN UmP VFH PLS ACS WH 01:02, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
Damn! --—Braydie 01:04, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
Or alternatively, you may let any registered user other than the author to remove an NRV. -- herr doktor needsAsample Rocket [scream!] 16:38, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Or alternatively, you could use Template:Construction and wait until the article is finished for it to be judged. Crazyswordsman...With SAVINGS!!!! (T/C) 20:47, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
The thing is,I would NOT want the guy who originally wrote that article to think that he can remove the NRV tag... really. And thanks to all. --Atomic 22:14, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
