Uncyclopedia:Welcoming Committee I have just noticed this page and think that it would be a good idea to update it. Everyone who welcomes users can insert his name in the list (Uncyclopedia:Welcoming Committee/Members). After that it can be promoted as an "official" Uncyclopedia service. I have done a clean-up there and inserted my signature, as nobody reacted. It is a simple formality but it will make us (welcomers) look more official. I know that Spike, Romartus, Simsilikesims, ScottPat, Denza welcome users. Newman66 began to do it but has a problem with his welcoming template. So why don't you put your signature there? And there are some very useful hints at the WC page (reminding you again). Anton (talk) Uncyclopedia United 15:46, September 29, 2013 (UTC)
You found another dusty corner on Uncyclopedia! --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 18:39, September 29, 2013 (UTC)
So how will it work? I would perhaps 'retire' the retired list and just keep the active ones there. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 18:41, September 29, 2013 (UTC)
My own opinion on this is that it is a waste of time becoming a member of the group when all the active users welcome members anyway. More paperwork is not want I need. Sorry Anton. Sir ScottPat (talk) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 20:03, September 30, 2013 (UTC)
Please, if you do welcome users, just put your signature in the list and nothing else. This forum exists because: on the WC page there are some useful tips to welcome users (templates, javascript, etc.) that you may not be aware of; many of us welcome users, but our "official" page is outdated by several months, if not years.
