Uncyclopedia:Welcoming Committee I have just noticed this page and think that it would be a good idea to update it. Everyone who welcomes users can insert his name in the list (Uncyclopedia:Welcoming Committee/Members). After that it can be promoted as an "official" Uncyclopedia service. I have done a clean-up there and inserted my signature, as nobody reacted. It is a simple formality but it will make us (welcomers) look more official. I know that Spike, Romartus, Simsilikesims, ScottPat, Denza welcome users. Newman66 began to do it but has a problem with his welcoming template. So why don't you put your signature there? And there are some very useful hints at the WC page (reminding you again). Anton (talk) 15:46, September 29, 2013 (UTC)
You found another dusty corner on Uncyclopedia! --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 18:39, September 29, 2013 (UTC)
So how will it work? I would perhaps 'retire' the retired list and just keep the active ones there. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 18:41, September 29, 2013 (UTC)
My own opinion on this is that it is a waste of time becoming a member of the group when all the active users welcome members anyway. More paperwork is not want I need. Sorry Anton. Sir ScottPat (talk) White Ensign Scotland Flag 1 Compassrose VFH UnS NotM WotM WotY 20:03, September 30, 2013 (UTC)
Please, if you do welcome users, just put your signature in the list and nothing else. This forum exists because: on the WC page there are some useful tips to welcome users (templates, javascript, etc.) that you may not be aware of; many of us welcome users, but our "official" page is outdated by several months, if not years.
