After a long hiatus from Uncyclopedia, I tried to log in but the software doesn't recognize that my account, even though my userpage is still there. In any event, I see my real name is next to my username on my page. When I first created my account, I understood that the whole idea of having a username was that people didn't see you real name. Is there someone I can talk to about this? Thanks. 2001:569:BE33:8700:D87A:C767:B4AF:3DA2 04:06, October 7, 2018 (UTC)

What was your old username? The user name database at Uncyclopedia was originally separate from Wikia but the two were merged a few years ago. If the name you chose here was already active elsewhere on Wikia, your user name would have be renamed as Un-Username. --LaurelsRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 08:29, October 7, 2018 (UTC)
I've noticed a number of users now have their real names on their pages. I don't know where these names are coming from, but it's Wikia's skin Oasis that exposes them, which unfortunately we are no longer opted out of. There should be an "edit" link when you hover over the box with your name and username -- you can use that to remove any information you don't want. I don't know anyone in particular you could talk to about it, but you could try contacting Wikia staff and see what they have to say. ❦ Llwy-ar-lawr talkcontribs • 07:06 9 October 2018
I believe if people have their real name it's because they chose to put it there. Most Wikia staff don't even show their real name. But if you want it changed, contact staff through https://community.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Contact/ AdminBadge DAP Dame Pleb Com.
