If an image is on Wikipedia and it has the GFDL 1.2 on it, can I upload that image to Uncyclopedia as long as proper credit is given to the original creator? (((psrihc rettO • sllehsmalc nekorB)))remmaH dnuoP neT 00:31, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

If a tree falls in the forest, does anybody hear when we steal it and use it for firewood? In other words, we tend to take a relaxed attitude to things like this I think. Especially if it's for the "purposes of parody". A note on the image's page that it came from Wikipedia won't do any harm though. It's better to give credit than to not give credit. That's what I tell my bank, anyway. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 02:16, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
