Hey ya! I'm sysop and check user at and we need some help. Could someone please make logos for our versions of UnNews and UnDictionary (Ikkenytt and Ikktionary), and tell us how to put the logos into pages? I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum, but I'll send you all a dead hamster when I'll get some if this is the wrong forum.

God depress you, and have some "Half cock of french country woman"! (In Hungary, it's a restaurant serving that, really, it's 100% true, if it's not, I'm gonna be eaten by a grue)

Ok, first you'll need to get User:Carlb (probably best emailing him) to make those into actual namespaces.
After he's done that, you'll need to add the following line to mediawiki:common.css, one for each logo you want to change:
.ns-0 #p-logo a { background-image: url( }
Except change "ns-0" to the right namespace number, and change the url for the one that contains the new logo. Spang talk 01:48, 26 Jul 2007
Thanks, but we still have a big problem: We haven't made any namespaces for them... I've tried once to do it, and then Ikkenytt (UnNews) disappeared, so I had to delete the namespace. --Norwegian Blue 13:56, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
I think that making a new namespace then adding old articles to it requires an SQL query. I'll look around for more info. --Starnestommy (TalkContribsFFSWP) 04:21, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
this may be of use. --Starnestommy (TalkContribsFFSWP) 04:27, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
...but only if you have the foresight not to create Ikkenytt: as an individual Norwegian page. If that page exists, and 'Ikkenytt' is created later as a namespace, that particular script gets rather upset and fails to run properly. --Carlb 17:30, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
