I came on to the site today and was confronted with one of those annoying "warning banner clicky things"...you know, the ones warning you that the site has inappropriate content. It was all well and good, until I noticed the kitten image that was displayed as part of the banner. My mouth went dry, and my body trembled as an old need/hunger reentered me. You see, I am an ex-kitten-huffer.
Now sure, you all think it's for shits and giggles, but for us that are constantly fighting this dread disease (don't let those 'scientists' tell you otherwise...it truly is a disease and NOT an addiction) your flagrant use of such imagery is insulting. And mean. You don't see images of kittens on billboards or buses or milk cartons, DO YOU? NO you don't...because society is aware of the temptations that are caused by such displays. OHH sure, people put up pictures of their missing cats, but they are just trying to flush me out. But i'm too smart for them. I know not to linger in front of those pictures, drooling and trembling in anticipatory ecstasy. Nope, not me. I walk right by them, and noone suspects.
Anyway, I think you should be a little more considerate and think about ex-kitten-huffers such as myself, who are leading very normal lives now. Couldn't you put up a picture of a grue or something instead? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Finnius (talk • contribs)
