First there's the disgrace that was Wikimania. If that wasn't enough to turn you off, it just got worse. Too bad the only places in this world that actually share our ideals are things like The Onion and the Daily Show, and they're the kind of people a wholesome, independent humor site like us doesn't want to associate with. Uncyclomania didn't do too well last time it was proposed. Nothing really happened. There area few other wikis like Illogicopedia, Wikiality, and Wiqipedia that we could get together with if we need more people to organize it. --~

What you could do is go to Uncyclomedia's wiki, and go to the Requests for projects area, then ask Carlb for some space for an official wiki to help organize the event like Wikimedia. There could be a vote for a location, information about the convention, et cetera. However, there is a financial aspect, which probably caused the thing to fail in the first place. ~

I'm of the opinion that it may be more convenient to organise two events (if we're really clever, simultaneously; but let's not get ahead of ourselves), one in the USA and one in Europe. Well, OK, England. Well, OK, London. Either way, I think we have enough Uncyclopedians in each country to warrant localised gatherings. I think the last one was São Paulo, Brasil. About all I understood from the various complex charts and graphs presented at that gathering was that the number of bans was up while article quality dropped off the chart.
