Hello, and welcome to the "New Administrator Nominations" voting page. Here, administrators will be able to nominate current users for an administrative position. After a period of time (probably 2 or 3 days) all users receiving a nomination accompanied by at least two supporting votes will be transferred to a separate voting page where the entire community will be eligible to vote.
Please keep in mind that any votes placed on this page will NOT be transferred to the community voting page, and therefore you should vote even if you don't necessarily want the user to be adminned. You may vote for up to three people, unless you nominate a user in which case you will only be allowed 2 votes. There should be only one nomination for each administrator.
Users may leave and comments, questions, and/or concerns on this page's talk page. Before leaving a comment, please realize that a lot of thought has gone into the voting process this time around (no, really, I swear), and we would appreciate it if no one filps out. Also, to Benson, better luck next time, buddy.
Errata:In the spirit of unilateralism embodied in the preceding text, I am unilaterally declaring the preceeding text to be null and void. Just kidding. Or am I?
Thank you for voting, the vote is now closed. Expect a VFS post shortly.--<<>> 22:53, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Fourthed I forget who hates him but I like his work. And his metric fuckton of joke-bans must count for something. But only if he trims down his sig. SirFamine,Gun♣Petition»01/12 02:54
Fifthed. The obvious choice. ---Rev. Isra(talk) 05:41, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
For. I'm not writing "sixthed", because that would be just daft. Nonetheless, he's been one of the prime candidates for opping for a good long while. And let's face it, it's always good to have the undead on your side. -- Sir CodeineK·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 10:51, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
For, how long has he deserved this?--<<>> 13:35, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Brains.......by which I mean...FoooorR 13:59, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Against Still don't think he's ready. Has also shown some instability in the past... »BrigSirDawg | t | v | c» 08:33, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Against... Yeah.. Sorry, Zombie... But I still get the impression you're studying how to pass a test, if you get what I mean... ⇔ Sir Mon€¥$ignSTFUF@H|CUNT|+S 18:23, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Nominate. Does a lot around the place and is a thoroughly nice chap (hope that doesn't count against him!). -- Sir Mhaille (talk to me) 02:20, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Sure. As long as it doesn't lead to an increase in the number of large red and yellow templates going around. •Spang•☃•talk• 08:45, 12 Jan 2007
Against. I love Tom, but I think he just needs a little more grooming. By which I mean in the sense that a paedophile "grooms" his victims. I'm sure Tom's personal hygeine is impeccable. -- Sir CodeineK·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 10:51, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Against, similar to Codeine. Seems like there might be some conflicts, and as admins need to be able to support each-other... There are other reasons I won't openly discuss. »BrigSirDawg | t | v | c» 08:46, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Nominate. Because Spang can't nominate two, and she would have my vote anyway. What Spang said, she does good work, helpful, and level headed. She'll do well. -- sannse (talk) 08:20, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
I still approve. Same reasons I put before they were removed. •Spang•☃•talk• 08:45, 12 Jan 2007
Strong For. Always rolling up her sleeves and getting stuck into maintenance work, let's make it easier for her. -- Sir CodeineK·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 10:51, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
For. It was a close call for me between voting for ff and nomming Olipro, but we need more female admins here, so that breaks the tie.--<<>> 13:37, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Nominate. Because I'm certain that he would look absolutely scrumptious in drag. You go girl! --Carlb 23:36, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Support Fine chap, even-tempered, plus it helps even out the American bias of the team. Now, we need some people that are not from the US, GB (this includes Canada), or Belgium, so we don't look like we're some kind of United Anglo lovefest. »BrigSirDawg | t | v | c» 08:37, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Nominate. Squiggle's pretty new, but he's a really bright kid, and I think he carries a lot of weight around here. Plus, with all of those pubescent hormones he could probably pull 13 hour shifts t o m p k i n s blah.ﺞوﻦוףהՃՄண்ஸފއހวอฏม+տtrade websites 17:22, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Foreven if Tompkins just doesn't want to be the youngest admin anymoreeven though he's on the young side without any comment about age. --KATIE!! 21:20, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Against. I like squiggle, but I don't know that he is ready to be an admin. Remember, +S has a 10% mortality rate. »BrigSirDawg | t | v | c» 08:41, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Emphatic Support»BrigSirDawg | t | v | c» 08:32, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
For. Someone get the cloroform, we're dragging him back in damn it! ---Rev. Isra(talk) 09:43, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
Don't bother with all the voting bollocks, just re-op the man. Bureaucrats, I'll even bribe you to do this. Name your price. -- Sir CodeineK·H·P·B·M·N·C·U·Bu. · (Harangue) 17:24, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
