Was wondering what the bracketed red and green numbers meant when I check the articles on my watchlist. Just curious

- A green number shows the number of bytes added to a page in the last edit, a red number shows how many were removed. The numbers are there mainly so us Recent Changes patrollers can get a general idea of how much a page has been changed.
